Bridging Culture Series: What is Culture to You?

mispon: A Celebration of Animation partnered with Connaught 100 and brought in award winning stop motion producer/director Xstine Cook and director/animator Jesse Gouchey. Together, these artists came from Calgary to teach an intensive 2 day Stop Animation Workshop with Grades 6/7/8 English of Ecole Connaught School.

The workshops took place on December 8th and 9th, 2011 at Connaught school and was a great experience for both instructors and students. To help the workshops, Janine Windodlph, artist-in-residence, and her partner, Gerri Ann Siwek .

Workshops were made possible by Sask Culture’s Multicultural Initiative Fund and the grant was facilitated by Doug Casimel (2011 VP of mispon)
